They're like Sega... But with "staying power". ;-)
(DC, R.I.P. We all loved you.)
We have to see articles about actual sales data but now we have to endure articles about predicted numbers? What's next? Predictions about predicted numbers?
*face palm*
They're making another one because in Japan, Dynasty Warriors is so popular. This is just another DW clone IMHO and I too felt the first one was boring and repetitive. It just was not my cup of tea.
Yes, you do need Home. From my take on your posts, the current home you live in does not garnish you the one thing that Sony's Home does... A social life. So go Home and get a life.
Of course it's fair. It's as fair as comparing two console that released a year apart and claiming a lead in sales to the earlier released one.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. ;-)
In all honesty, sales do not make a game great and regardless, both titles compared here are good games.
What's to stop them from the next gen console being faulty? People currently buy the 360 and it is riddled with issues? If anything, the consumer has spoken and they have said, "sure we will buy it, even if it is riddled with errors".
Don't get me wrong, I for one hope they fix the issues but it would seem that in todays world, faulty hardware is acceptable...
My guess is that of the 5 or 6 million that purchased the game originally, many of them sold or traded the game in by the time the DLC was released. That in itself causes issues since many will have to purchase the game again, new or used just to play the DLC and perhaps the DLC was just not impressive enough for people to reinvest in the game. My guess is that those who purchased the DLC were the hardcore GTAIV folks that were not jaded due tot he generic gameplay that was in fact GTAIV. Man...
Yeah, in some cases but not all. The theory behind MAG is awesome and if it comes to pass, which I am sure it will, may demonstrate something that has never been done on a console and prove once again that Sony is pioneering their way through the console gaming scene.
MAG might not be super popular and may not make billions of dollars but if it works, it will show many other developers that the PS3 is the platform where huge battles can be done and may quite possibly open the ...
LOL
Come on bud, be real - kay?
If they were truly equal in power then why is it that we have yet to see a game look like Killzone 2 or even Uncharted on the 360? Somebody needs to tell MS to drop the UE3 engine games and come up with something that can tap this power that edhe seems to think is left in the 360. I will argue that I feel that easy architecture makes for lazy developers in many cases but if the two console were truly equal, then in the 12 to 15 mon...
As pointed out by some of my esteemed colleges, you might want to take a look at the cold hard facts before making silly comments like the one you made here. Halo is good and regardless of genre helped usher in a good day for those of us that love FPS's but in terms of game sales, GT has grabbed hold of Halo's proverbial arse and wiped the market clean in terms of sales. Perhaps after Halo 4 MS will be able to talk smack but until then, not so much.
But after all the turds and semi-sucky titles SE has released in the last few years, this demo neither got me excited nor any bit interested in buying Advent Children on BD. I have the DVD and for now, that is plenty good. Sticking a demo of a build for FFXIII that hit last year onto a BD movie won't sucker me into buying it.
1) I was a silly fanboy
2) I thought this game was any good to begin with
3) Unicorns flew out of my butt
In any case, the game is not even on my radar. It just looks generic. Maybe a bargain bin game?
Who-da-thunk-it?!
You should take your own advice and just "shulup". ;-)
In fact, when I purchased games from GameStop, the store I frequented had a few "GameStop Fanboys" behind the counter. They were the same guys that pushed the Xbox 360 over everything else and wore clearasil like a face mask. Sorry, but my visual of this guy is not a pretty one.
Gotchya. I think we're singing on the same page now. ;-)
Edit: Looks like King Dong is still hurt...
*hands KD a tissue*
There, there little camper...
How does one "shulup"? :-/
You're preaching to the choir bud, I am well aware of the trash talk the 360 fanboys were giving the PS3 fans. I will say that there are fanboys on both sides and there is no excuse for both rants from either party but I will admit, the sales figures we hear and how the 360 is selling so stellar and how the PS3 is doing so bad... Talk about crap. If the PS3 is selling so bad then why is it that people would boast the 360 sales since they are in fact selling a whisker less than the PS3 worldwi...
Regardless if I agree with it or not, the tit for tat you see here is perfectly fine, especially when the Sony fans had to endure a couple years of Xbox fans shoving 360 sales numbers down their throats. If you don't like it, then let me tell you the same thing the PS3 fans were told when they too acted like you are here... "If you don't like it, don't read it and post elsewhere."
Yes. Will they? Nope. The issue here is not if they could but if they will and as we have seen int he past, they more than likely will not. I fail to see however what the issue is considering that in the past couple years Sony has shown us that despite a higher price point, they have sold over 10 million consoles per year and as with the PSone and PS2, they are in it for the long haul. We all talk about how well the other two consoles from Sony sold but putting two and two together and lookin...
